lived in a trailer down a dirt road went pot holing on a road with pot holes i'm very superstitious i don't carry cell phones take it from me i'm a redneck to the bone got an 18 wheeler and it gets me real far if a tire pops off i got 17 more drove a lawn mower to the liquor store take it from me i'm a redneck to the bone i got my problems checked into a hospital last week but i can't solve them it's just the redneck in me when i drink a corona i loose control i'm the best there ever was i'm a redneck to the bone had the best dog in the whole dang world went swimming in canals just a catching ring worm if someone pulled up to the house i'd point gun at them first take it from me i'm a redneck to the bone got cars in my yard that won't even run the grass is growing high got a dozen bb guns i like my oatmeal lumpy and my burgers well done take it from me i'm a redneck to the bone

i fell in love fell in love with a dog had him there up on my knees his name was pepper picked off his fleas took him for a walk we had a little talk then i fell in love with him then he fell in love with me it didn't take too long started following me to school til he realized it wasn't cool he waited for me at the bus stop he was the toughest dog around beat up all the dogs he found and when he swam he never drown then he fell in love with me then i fell in love with him that's what i'm looking for that's what my heart beats for a dog to lick my floor don't need a mop no more and if he should ever leave i'd be scarred eternally and it's off to the humane society
